wondering into the woods, I came across what must have been a nesting ground. There water a few different species of birds flapping around, making a racket (probably because of me…). I just pointed my camera into the air and started clicking. I was a bit amazed to see this shot afterwards.

Aloka Lekhana
The word “photography” is based on the Greek φῶς (photos) “light” and γραφή (graphé) “representation by means of lines” or “drawing”, together meaning “drawing with light”.
~
I found this such a wonderful expression, drawing with light, that I translated it into Pali, Aloka Lekhana.
~
Not only does Aloka mean light, but it also means to shed light, illuminate, and yet another meaning is to see.
~
